Deirdre Devlin, Dip Psychotherapy, M.A. Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, MIAHIP, ICP

I am a humanistic and integrative psychotherapist with extensive experience providing counselling and therapeutic services for adults, adolescents, and children. I have a particular interest in working with adolescents and the issues that typically present for them including anxiety, depression, self-harm, panic attacks, exam stress, body acceptance issues , bullying and self-esteem issues.

I hold a Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Tivoli Institute , Dun Laoghaire and a Master's Degree in Child & Adolescent Counselling & Psychotherapy from the Irish Institute of Counselling & Psychotherapy. I am a registrant of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy.

I work to empower my clients to access their inner strength and resources and overcome obstacles that may be holding them back in life.I believe that each person has the capacity for growth and change, and I support my clients to find their own unique voice and make any changes necessary to move towards a more fulfilling and enriching life. My approach is empathic and collaborative, and I use a blend of different therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual client.
